our history.

ARXITEX S.A. was founded in 1987 as a natural succession of its original shareholders’ activities. The original shareholders, sharing the same passion for excellence and innovation, joined their knowledge, experience and inspiration to form the company to its today’s shape.

• The company's scope of works, since the beginning, covers a wide range of constructions, private or public. But, no matter what the nature of the job is, we have always been committed in delivering projects of the highest quality, while special emphasis is given on the implementation of the strictest and most updated technical and aesthetic specifications, over a timely and economic manner.

• For the past 35 years, that we are in the business, we have successfully covered most of the construction fields; from fit-outs and social housing to property development, from road works and bridges to marine structures, from simple M&E installations and gas networks to photovoltaic power stations (solar parks). So in time, ARXITEX developed to be a tier 1 company, gaining experience, loyal clients and trusted stakeholders.

• ARXITEX, apart from the construction department, has also developed the assets department, which is responsible for managing and developing the company’s assets.


ARXITEX offices are located in the city of Athens/Greece, at 59 Marni str. Owning a wide range of machines and equipment, the company is self-sufficient when providing its services to a client. Among other things, are mobile cranes, front loaders, excavators, trucks, concrete pumps and concrete lorries.


Despite the fact that we are around for more than 35 years, the company’s structure is based on the most modern European and International trends. So, apart from the Chairman and the MD, every sector has its own manager, senior, junior and assistant personnel. The staff consists of 50 permanent employees and includes engineers from all sections, foremen, supervisors, designers, machine operators, accountants and administration clerks. Of course there is also staff on hire, between 50 and 200 operatives, depending on the volume of the workload.


We – all ARXITEX’s executives & personnel – share the same values and principals, so it’s not a surprise that we all share the same vision for the group, in the years to come. We aspire a further growth for the group and we are sure that old and new clients will trust us, to continue delivering our high quality projects, as we’ve done for the past 35 years. Looking into the future, we also setting a bet with ourselves; that is, making ARTITEX a leader company in construction’s Health & Safety, Environmental management and sustainability. This is our commitment to our clients for the future.

ARXITEX S.A. has been certified for establishing, maintaining and works in compliance with three international management systems. The Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015) and the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001:2007).
